I could go on about how horrendous the sound mixing was, as well as the atrocious soundtrack, and how annoyingly obnoxious the characters were, but I guess I kinda knew what I was getting myself into.
John Jarratt was in this and at this point I'm just watching for the percentage. At least he was cute though.

It's hot, we go to the beach and eat lots of salads and ham slices (unless you're vegetarian like me) in our backyards. As an Australian with a partner originally from the US, we keep some of the traditions on both sides of the fence. Which is a long introduction to a film that makes as much sense as Yahoo Serious' brief flirtation with fame.
Our blonde lead's partner is unequivocally a dick at the start of this film. The dude buys a dog without consulting with his life partner, fights with her about her about…

🎄 2021 Christmas Binge Watch Movie #81 🎄
The music and background sounds were so loud you could barely hear the dialog. I had to put the subtitles on because the sounds of crickets were louder than the dialog. I wish there was a way to shut the score off, it was so annoying. The soundtrack was so busy. We didn’t need to constantly hear the didgeridoo to know we were in Australia.
I liked the actors, and I feel bad for some of them who had to do American accents as they were unsuccessful in that arena. It’s a zany Christmas adventure. A couple fights, hubby goes back home to Australia and wifey soon follows except she looses all…
